Lifer in the auto industry with over twenty years product, commercial, strategy and innovation in global roles at McLaren, Fiat, Mazda and Jaguar Land Rover. Startup up advisor and non-exec director. Proud Yorkshireman and part-Italian. Graduate in Mechanical Engineering from Newcastle University, MBA from Imperial College London and post-graduate from University of Cambridge.

Jonathan Carrier

Technical expert in lithium-ion batteries and high voltage system architecture who is passionate about the potential for batteries to transform energy storage and electric mobility. Experience at Arrival in battery testing and battery management system development for electric vans and buses. Also developed proof-of-concept commercial energy storage systems at Arrival and previously worked at Shell Recharge developing EV fleet charging for taxi fleets. Italian from Milan with a Masters in Mechanical Engineering from Imperial College London.

Lorenzo Bergamaschi

Hands-on engineer with experience in manufacturing and operations. Specific technical expertise in new product development and engineering validation from stints at Honda and Arrival. South African born with a strong passion for technology and innovative solutions, particularly when they address common problems. Understands the grid challenge from regular load shedding in South Africa. Graduate in Mechanical Engineering from Cardiff University, Masters in Industrial Systems, Manufacture, and Management from the University of Cambridge.

Jack Levy

Highly experienced automotive and mobility designer, with in depth knowledge of the full lifecycle from concept design to full manufacture. Course Tutor on the prestigious Intelligent Mobilty/Vehicle Design MA course at the Royal College of Art. Specialist in 3D design and visualisation and transport and mobility design research and development. Over twenty-five years automotive experience as an exterior designer at Ford, Pininfarina, TWR, Daewoo, BMW and Opel. Also Head of Design at Apex Motors. BA in Industrial Design from Cardiff Metropolitan University and MA in Vehicle Design from the Royal College of Art.

Guy Colborne

Multi-capable engineer with practical experience across various disciplines, including robotics, automotive and aeronautics. Former Army aircraft engineer, highly proactive and capable of building prototypes and introducing new products given years of experience working at Arrival, Aston Martin and on the Bloodhound SSC world land speed record project. Former Head of Prototypes at Arrival working on the bus and van programs responsible for the assembly and fabrication of novel technologies, including composite materials. Proudly Scottish with a modern Apprenticeship in Aerospace Engineering
Prototype Engineering Director

Richard Constable

A self-confessed battery nerd, with strong expertise in control systems and data acquisition of lithium-ion batteries. Most comfortable assembling a battery pack and writing the code for the BMS. Previous experience at National Instruments and Arrival building bespoke testing solutions, developing battery safety verification, and creating embedded systems for use on the battery production line. Masters in Mechanical Engineering from Loughborough University.

Jacob Hopkins

CAD ninja, and accomplished automotive design and project engineer, having worked at start-up and established OEMs including Tevva, Arrival, Rivian, McLaren and Ford. Specialist in body and trim design engineering, delivering components and systems across the full lifecycle for low and high volume projects. Bachelors in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Hertfordshire. 
Senior Mechanical Design Engineer

Liam Chambers

Canadian Sudanese, reformed Management Consultant with experience working at the intersection of technology and sustainability. Passionate about identifying and scaling impactful climate-tech solutions to accelerate the global energy transition to responsible decarbonisation. Experience at cleantech start-ups including ZeroAvia and Heimdal, having worked on and built multiple early-stage start-ups. Graduate in Nanotechnology Engineering from the University of Waterloo, MBA from London Business School.

Ahmed Eltom

Superstar graduate engineer who is at home with building a wiring loom as he designing the typology for power electronics. Previous experience with the Team Bath Racing Electric team where he attended Formula Student competitions at Silverstone, UK and in Italy. Just received a 1st from the University of Bath for his Masters in Integrated Mechanical and Electrical Engineering.
Junior Engineer

Max McManus

Computer scientist with expertise in artificial intelligence, digital twins and their application to real-world problems. Committed to finding sustainable solutions to global challenges and having a positive impact. Previously developed and contributed to open-source models that simulate energy transitions and optimise grid-connected battery revenue. Author of 13 peer-reviewed papers in simulation, machine learning, and reinforcement learning. PhD in computer science from the University of Newcastle and Postdoc in energy systems at Imperial College London.

Dr Alex Kell

An 18th edition Certified electrician with a Gold-card who has taught energy storage and solar installation to electricians and is active in the installation of PV, batteries and EV chargers. Worked on a wide variety of installations including single and three phase, gensets, electrical inspection, testing & fault finding etc.

Full Stack Software Engineer with extensive experience across multiple stacks and fields. Previous full-stack experience at Vivacity Labs and Entuity working with TypeScript, React, JavaScript and Node.js. Masters in Electrical Engineering from the University of Liege. Passionate about creating positive change, and on a mission to develop high quality code to help the world decarbonise.

Recent graduate in Electronics and Electrical Engineering with experience with digital signal processing, electronics, and embedded systems. Designed, built, and tested circuits for the safety system for Formula Student car at Edinburgh University. His passion lies at the intersection of hardware and
software and feels most comfortable when outside of his comfort zone.

Embedded systems expert, who can interrogate the software of any battery pack and enjoys mastering the art of power electronics. Proud Lithuanian, former simulator engineer for the Boeing 737 and Airbus A320. Most recently developed electrical energy meters  for industrial and grid-scale applications having previously developed ESS for home and industrial use. A walker by nature, always choosing the scenic path over shortcuts.

Experienced across B2B Sales in high growth environments, building operational processes, product strategy, and more. A kiwi who spent time in Australia with Ohmie GO, a SaaS and Infrastructure company building exclusive electric mobility hubs for large buildings. Leads an active life, enjoying surfing, running, reading, and writing.
