🚀 When life gives you discharged batteries, make energy storage! Major news: we're turning EV battery waste into valuable energy assets. Thrilled to announce that Allye Energy has been selected for the Circular Innovation Challenge – Electric Vehicle Batteries, International Edition 2025.
🔋 The Circular Innovation Challenge is a groundbreaking initiative led by RECYC-QUÉBEC and Cycle Momentum, tackling one of the energy transition's biggest challenges. By 2030, over 1 million EV batteries will need effective end-of-life management in Europe alone, yet these batteries typically retain 70-80% of their original capacity.
⚡ Through this programme, we'll accelerate our smart energy management solutions via real-world pilot projects, demonstrating how our technology can cut about 40% of a battery's carbon footprint by turning second-life EV batteries into valuable energy storage assets.
📈 This selection further reinforces our development trajectory, having been successfully chosen for other major programmes including Third Derivative, Free Electrons Program, and Plug and Play Tech Center - validating our innovative approach to the energy transition.
🙏 Massive thanks to Cycle Momentum for creating this platform, RECYC-QUÉBEC for their vision, and the distinguished jury of industry experts from companies including General Motors, Volvo Group, Alstom, BRP, and Safran.
